What’s New at Anthony’s Key Resort

Fitness Center, Dive Facilities, and Dockside Snacks

There are some exciting changes taking place around Anthony’s Key Resort. From a new Fitness Center and expanded dive lockers to the opening of Dockside Snacks, these additions are designed to make your time at the resort more comfortable and convenient.

Several of these improvements were inspired by suggestions from our guests, and we are pleased to share what is new and what is still to come.

Stay Active at Our New Fitness Center

Guests can now stay active during their vacation at our new air-conditioned Fitness Center, conveniently located next to the swimming pool on Anthony’s Key.

The facility offers a variety of cardio and strength-training equipment, including two treadmills, two ellipticals, a recumbent bike, a rower, a multipurpose strength machine, and a free-weight area with benches. The bright, air-conditioned space provides a comfortable setting for guests to maintain their fitness routines while away from home. Located next to the pool and Yoga Deck, it is part of a welcoming wellness area where guests can enjoy an indoor workout or an open-air yoga session under the trees.

For divers, maintaining good aerobic fitness, strength, and flexibility can help prepare the body for the physical demands of carrying equipment, swimming in changing conditions, and enjoying multiple days on the water.

Divers should keep in mind that timing and intensity are important when combining exercise and diving. Divers Alert Network recommends avoiding strenuous exercise within 24 hours of diving and choosing light, low-intensity activity close to scheduled dives. Guests diving throughout the week may want to keep their workouts gentle and reserve more demanding exercise for a non-diving day.

Whether you are beginning the morning with some light movement, enjoying a gentle stretching session, or visiting the Fitness Center on a day away from diving, you now have another way to support your well-being while enjoying the resort.

Additional Dive Equipment Locker Room

Divers will also notice a new building along the dock, with additional dive lockers for guests.

The new dive equipment room provides more lockers, helping guests keep their equipment organized and easily accessible throughout the week of diving.

Work is continuing in other areas as well. Renovations are now underway in the old guest dive equipment room, and future plans include constructing a new Dive Shop building. These projects are part of our continued effort to improve the diving experience, from preparing and storing equipment to heading out on the water.

Grab & Go Convenience at Dockside Snacks

The new dock building is also home to Dockside Snacks, our new snack shop featuring convenient Grab & Go choices.

Quick snack options have been requested by our guests, especially for those moments between meals and activities. Dockside Snacks makes it easy to grab a quick snack before heading out on a night dive or whenever you want a quick bite during the day.

The selection includes fresh fruit, freshly prepared sandwiches, fresh pastries, beverages, and other healthier options, with offerings that may vary.

The Grab & Go food and beverages are available for purchase separately from the Resort Package meal plan.

Improvements Inspired by Our Guests

From having more space to store dive gear to enjoying a quick snack or keeping up with a fitness routine, these additions were created to make time at Anthony’s Key Resort even more enjoyable.

We are grateful for the suggestions our guests share with us. Their feedback helps guide many of the improvements made throughout the property, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to experience what is new while enjoying the natural beauty, warm hospitality, and relaxed atmosphere that have made Anthony’s Key Resort a special part of Roatan since 1968.
