Experience the Thrill of A Canopy tour!

Many of our guests visit Gumbalimba Park for one reason and one reason only: to zipline. We just so happen to offer an excellent add-on excursion to the park that is sure to thrill. The Canopy Tour is a favorite among our most adventurous visitors. You’ll soar over 13 traverses, zipping over Roatan’s mountain ranges, until you hit the sandy beach of Guambimba Park. Your tour will begin with a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll head up to the first platform, which is 60 feet in the air. From there, you’ll glide over the treetops with the wind in your hair and a smile on your face. Before you head out, be sure to note the maximum weight for riders. We also recommend that you wear closed-toe shoes and shorts or long pants. The price for the Gumbalimba Park zipline excursion is $75 per rider. 

Tour the Park

While you’re visiting Gumbalimba Park, take their general park tour. It’s a great way to see a little bit of everything this attraction has to offer. You’ll visit Coxen’s Cave, the botanical garden, the animal sanctuary, the beach, and the pool. If you’re traveling with kids, you’ll want to visit the “Insectarium” at Fort Gumba. This attraction is home to all local bug species and is a great educational tool.
