Anthony’s Key Resort Stories
It has been 3 months since our trip to AKR. We had a phenomenal week of diving, dining and socializing. Every staff member was great. The dining room staff, notably Steven, were always gracious. We had a fun time with all of the water taxi guys. Our dive team was wonderful. We hated to leave after just one week, but little did we know that the AKR staff was about to exceed our wildest expectations. We went to the airport, but due to severe weather in Dallas, our flight was cancelled. Israel and Gregory were awaiting incoming guests, but they jumped to take care of 10 of us that were stranded. AKR took care of us for 2 more days at a very reasonable rate until the airline got us rescheduled on another flight. I will never forget the compassion and superlative service provided by Anthony’s Key Resorts.

When I went to AKR, I immediately started “conversing” with the Macaws. I was determined to teach one of them to say “Go Hoosiers” as I am an Indiana University graduate. By the end of the week, one of them was saying it. I only hope that he taught it to the rest of the Macaws.

My wife, son, and I recently had the most incredible experience at Anthony’s Key Resort! We decided to do the beginner’s scuba excursion while on a cruise, and out of all the excursions we’ve been on in 19 years, this was hands down the best! The staff was absolutely incredible. They were all very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. You could not ask for a better group of instructors. My wife and I were a bit nervous about our 14-year-old son scuba diving for the first time, but as you can see by the pictures, he was like a fish in water. This is due to the excellent guidance and instruction. The pictures and video Orvill took were nothing short of spectacular! I’d like to thank the entire staff for providing us with an unforgettable family experience!!!
