Student Groups at Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences
At the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences (RIMS), we specialize in providing an immersive educational experience for university and high school student groups. Our programs are meticulously designed to support studies in marine research, coral reefs, oceanography, biology, and more, offering students a unique opportunity to dive deep into their fields of interest.
Tailored Learning Experience: Our special package rates are crafted for students engaged in a structured program under the guidance of a professor from an established university or high school. These packages are not just about accommodation; they’re about creating an enriching learning environment where students can apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Group Requirements: All groups must originate from an established university or high school and be escorted by a professor from the institution; a minimum of 11 students is required to form a group.
Incentives for Educators: Recognizing the vital role educators play in shaping their students’ minds, RIMS offers a complimentary land package for each Professor who accompanies every 11 paying students. This incentive is designed to encourage and support educators in bringing their classes to our institute, ensuring they have everything they need to conduct successful and meaningful programs.
Explore Marine Sciences in Honduras: RIMS offers the ideal setting for educational groups seeking to explore the wonders of marine life and ecosystems. Our facilities are equipped to support comprehensive research programs, providing students and professors with access to state-of-the-art resources and unique field experiences. Whether it’s understanding the delicate balance of coral reefs, delving into oceanographic studies, or exploring the vast diversity of marine biology, RIMS is committed to offering an unparalleled educational journey.
