Lionfish are an invasive species in Caribbean waters, and they started appearing on Roatan in early 2009. However, thanks to ongoing mitigation efforts, they have not dominated Roatan’s waters like in many other parts of the Caribbean. Our first Lionfish Expedition, led by Peter Hughes and Lad Akins, aims to educate participants on the lionfish threat and the ways divers can help. The exclusive seven-night package includes Key Deluxe accommodations, all-inclusive dining, and a variety of diving experiences and workshops curated by Hughes and Akins to enhance your stay. Participants will enjoy five two-tank boat dives, two night dives, and exclusive remote trips! Plus, resort amenities, such as kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and fun events like an Island Fiesta night, and a day excursion to Maya Key, round out this all-encompassing retreat. Rates are in USD, based on double or single occupancy.
Rates include Hotel Taxes and Roatan Marine Park Lionfish License.
The meal plan includes dinner on arrival day through breakfast on departure day.
PAYMENTS
Full payment is due within 7 days of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY
59-45 days prior to departure — $200 USD per person penalty.
44-30 days prior— 25% penalty of the total cost of the reservation.
29-8 days prior to arrival—No refund is provided; however, a future credit will be given to the same individual to be used within one year of the original travel date, less $200 per person.
7 days or less before arrival date and no-shows: No refund or credit will be given.
No refunds for flight cancellations, natural disasters, war, terrorism, etc.
The unused services in the package are non-refundable and non-transferable.
